Hunan delegation visits Hong Kong and Macao to further communication and cooperation

 

Chairman of the CPPCC Hunan Provincial Committee Chen Qiufa Visits Director of LOCPG Macao Li Gang.

The key investigation program on accelerating Hunan’s new port and airport industries done by the CPPCC Hunan Provincial Committee is at the essential stage this year. According to the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office (HKMAO) of Hunan Province on May 14, a delegation headed by Chen Qiufa, chairman of the CPPCC Hunan Provincial Committee paid a visit to Hong Kong and Macao recently to further exchange and cooperation with Hong Kong and Macao.

During the four-day visit to Hong Kong and Macao, the delegation met leaders of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong SAR (LOCPG HK) and Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in Macao SAR (LOCPG Macao) as well as President of the Legislative Assembly of the Macao SAR. A symposium for members of the CPPCC Hunan Provincial Committee from Hong Kong was also held during this visit.

Deputy Director of LOCPG HK Yin Xiaojing said that Hong Kong has shared a long history in the cooperation with Hunan. The LOCPG HK will exert greater efforts in serving as a bridge to promote communication between Hong Kong and Hunan so as to achieve a win-win result.

Chairman Chen hoped that Hunan will join hands with Hong Kong to strengthen mutual cooperation and enhance cooperation level.
