Recently, 29 experts on architectural arts from Escola Tecnica dArquitecture de Barcelona (ETSAB), Central South University, and Guangdong University of Electronic Science and Technology conducted field investigation in Baojing Ancient Villages in Dawei Town of Jianghua Yao Autonomous County, Hunan Province, and held seminars on the cultural heritage conservation and sustainable development.
Director of Patter Information College of ETSAB, Doctoral Supervisor, Professor, and China specially hired overseas expert Mr. Luis Bravo Farre spoke highly of the ancient architectural complex in Baojing. From the perspective of ancient architectonics, he shared his advice and suggestion on how to converse the cultural heritage and develop it in a sustainable way. Experts from Central South University exchanged their ideas on development of ancient dwellings in Baojing, taking the landscape ecology and folk customs into consideration, and its tourism development as well.
