Yi ethnic group celebrates traditional Qiaocai Festival in Yunnan Province

Lu Xiaozhong, the inheritor of Bailuo(白倮) culture of Chengzhai(城寨) Village in Malipo(麻栗坡) County of Wenshan(文山) Zhuang(壮)-Miao(苗) Autonomous Prefecture, southwest China's Yunnan Province, leads the villagers in performing their traditional "Qiaocai dancing(荞菜舞)" in the village, May 14, 2013. The Bailuo people living in Wenshan is a subline of the Yi ethnic group. The Qiaocai Festival(荞菜节), one of the Bailuo people's most important festival, was celebrated at Chengzhai Village on Tuesday.
