Namcha Barwa (南迦巴瓦峰): One of the most beautiful mountains in China

Located on the eastern edge of the Himalayan range in the Nyingchi Prefecture of southwestern China's Tibet Autonomous Region, Mt. Namcha Barwa is the highest peak in the east end of the Himalayas with 7,782 meters above sea level. In Tibetan language, Mt. Namcha Barwa, which means "stone falling from the sky", is claimed to be the "father of all mountains". Mt. Namcha Barwa was the highest unclimbed independent mountain in the world until 1992 when it was finally climbed by a combined Chinese and Japanese team. Photo: Wikimedia.org
